Summer Daze

Summer so far has consisted of warm days and warm nights, lovely day trips, long drives with the windows down, visits with the boy, summer food & drinks (can you say homemade cappuccino ice pop?!), and countless hours applying to jobs. I was however able to find some time to escape up to Beacon, NY this past weekend to visit the Dia: Beacon Gallery. It's seriously SUCH a beautiful space. So much natural light. And a great collection- we're talkin Richard Serra and Dan Flavin. And the garden too- it's definitely worth a visit. Afterwards, we stopped at bank square coffeehouse to cool off with some yummaaay drinks. The place has the cutest decor- I love the worn yellow brick walls. And how sweet is this 60's/70's inspired dress with the bell sleeves paired with jeffrey campell cutout booties?? Diggin' it.
