KITTERY & PORTLAND {MAINE}

A sunny Thursday spent exploring Kittery and Portland. Shop Folk is just about THE perfectly curated shop. So many recognizable (and also new!) makers in one spot. And all so beautiful. And Anju Noodle Bar is their neighbor. They make their kimchi in house and it's absolutely amaziiiing.

We had so little time left for Portland (heyoo gotta work tomorrow) so I definitely want to go back, but what we did explore was great. My favorite was Tandem Coffee Roasters. It's an old building from the 1960's that was once a GAS STATION and LAUNDROMAT ... that is now a coffee shop. We had cherry + peach pie, a mast brothers mocha, and a latte and it was all too good. My other favorite was Moody Lords, a vintage/vinyl record shop. I got a pair of earrings made from old bullet shells and deer teeth... kinda weird...yeah but I liked them. Ooops.

Next time I want to see More and Co. and the Portland Museum of Art! Also want to see a moose. heh  Any other suggestions fellow New England friends?

MY NEED SUPPLY CO. WISHLIST

Need Supply Co. has been one of my favorites for a while now. When their prices seem a little daunting (although it's really a range) I love to browse...and strictly browse. And sometimes, I splurge. These are on the top of my list right now:

1. Human Being Journal because I admire the human being on the cover
2. Toyblocks calender for 2015
3. "Oui Oui" In God We Trust Necklace. (IGWT was the first brooklyn shop I ever visited, back in high school. It's been a while.)
4. Commodity GOLD perfume. I recently did their try at home kit and this scent stuck out to me.
5. Long Hook Earring. Minimalistic and pretty.

NOVEMBER, PROVIDENCE

Providence, Rhode Island. To me, it's a small city. Small, spread apart, and very hip. The perfect city for a Sunday road trip. Pop on the Serial podcast for the car (everyone listen, it's sooo good), throw on a pair of Levi's and a comfy tee, and you're set! I'm by no means a Providence expert, but here's some of my favorite spots for now. All highly recommended:

1. Le Grange: vegetarian food and a juice bar all in one
2. The Dean Hotel: the Ace Hotel of Providence (I think). The decor is a dream come true. Down to every single detail. Also Bolt Coffee is inside the hotel- eeeps!
3. Nava: vintage and new clothing
4. The Shop: the most beauteous coffee shop. And delicious. Plus, staff people are super suuuuper friendly
5. Olga's Cup + Saucer: came here for brunch. Baked goods, brunch, and lunch.
6. Providence Performing Arts Center: saw Wicked here last year. It's a old style theatre- beautiful inside.

New York in the Fall

New York in the Fall. There's nothing better. A weekend at home with farm fresh apple cider donuts and tea from the Cold Spring Apothecary. Pop-up farm stands and organic produce. Plus the cutest puppy in the world.
