Taking on the Lower East Side

Okay, so this weekend has confirmed that the lower east side/noho/nolita/whatever is da bomb. Cool shops/boutiques and restaurants/bars everywhere. It's a hip place. The sun was shinin' and I was bouncing around in this patterned baby doll dress & black boots with a chunky heel. Here's the spots we hit up:

1. Larchmont Hotel in the village. Super cheap and nice.
2. Top Hat. Really neat home decor store.
3. Old Hollywood. Jewelry, clothes, and more.
4. James Fuentes Gallery. Josh Abelow has a show up!
5. Safe Khaki store. I bought a grey beanie- everything is about simplicity&comfort here.
6. Gasoline Alley Coffee. Absolutely delicious cortado. Tiny, but hip.
7. MakerBot. A 3D print shop. Got to see 3D printing in action& I got a free 3D made bracelet. woo!
8. Los Feliz. Amazing drinks and tacos for dinner. Definitely coming back.
9. A couple of bars I can't remember the name of
10. Freemans Restaurant. The cutest/quirkiest brunch spot! In it's own alleyway too!
