I'm so in love with New York in December. December has always been one of my favorite months. Also, oh so excited to give presents to friends & family AND to open some for myself this Wednesday! I've been drinking tea like a mad woman this past week. Trying to avoid getting sick at all costs! I spent my weekend in New Paltz, another cool upstate (sort of) NY town. I was so excited when I saw homemade donuts from scratch and Ithaca's Gimme Coffee! Mmmm. And not to mention the weather. So so so warm. I didn't even need a coat. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday happy time!

"i who have arrived in heaven"
In order of appearance:
1. The Strand. I kept thinking about Patti Smith the entire time I was here. So many books, it's a bit overwhelming.
2. The Butcher's Daughter for lunch/brunch
3. Creatures of Comfort. Always wanted to go/can't afford anything though.
4. David Zwirner Gallery to see Yayoi Kusama's exhibit. (i who have arrived in heaven)
5. Cafe Grumpy to end with a midday coffee
