It's been a perfect day! Took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard around noon and got there within 35 minutes. Found a place to rent scooters and ended up getting a lovely little red guy. Explored Oak Bluffs town and the surrounding areas of the island. Rode past farms, beaches, and sailboats... and even stopped a few times to get closer looks. The scenery was amazing there. Escaped the heat with iced coffees from an underground bakery. Later had dinner at this amazing farm-to-table restaurant called Red Cat Kitchen. Started off dinner with a cocktail- an organic vodka with huckleberries, lime, and sugar. Ended it with THE most delicious chocolate malt crème brûlée. Oh my gosh, I can't even describe how good it was. Seriously. Our ferry back to the Cape was just around sunset- I couldn't have asked for a better Sunday.
